Jorge Masvidal has found a new friend, it seems. The BMF champ was recently pictured with the mother of former UFC fighter, Paige VanZant.

VanZant has put an image of her mother along with ‘Gamebred’ on her Instagram story. The social media star also pulled Masvidal’s leg by referring to him as her mother’s new boyfriend. Both Masvidal and VanZant train together at the American Top Team. Hence, the two should know each other very well on account of being stablemates.

VanZant most recently competed at the Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship. In her first outing in the squared circle, ’12 Gauge’ didn’t get the result she would’ve wished for. Her opponent Britain Hart took home the victory by defeating her on the judges’ scorecard.

The loss might have been a rude awakening for VanZant, who made a strong statement when she decided to test free agency after fighting out her contract in the UFC. The former Dancing With the Stars contestant has amassed a massive following on social media. It played a major role in allowing her to be in a situation where she can look out for her own good.

Jorge Masvidal will most likely get a shot at the welterweight title soon

Both Masvidal and VanZant lost their last outings in the UFC at the same PPV. However, while the latter has left the promotion in search of greener financial pastures, Masvidal is on the verge of getting an immediate rematch for the 170-pound gold.

‘Gamebred’ last stepped inside the Octagon at UFC 251 when he fought the incumbent welterweight kingpin, Kamaru Usman, on just six day’s notice. Despite being unsuccessful, the ‘BMF champ’ will likely have another chance to capture the elusive UFC gold.
