Fans react to the idea of Dana White being replaced

In a recent Instagram post, an idea was brought to life. Should Dana White be replaced as the head honcho of the UFC? The post accused White of having made “questionable” decisions in the organization lately. It also said how White was now “old” and “times a changin'”. Fans had a number of things to say about it all. Here are some of the reactions.

“as much negative he’s done to some fighters individually, most people wouldn’t even be fans of the sport if not for what he’s done for the UFC and popularizing MMA in America”

It would appear that most people are backing up White. What has he done to make anyone so mad? Perhaps it has to do with the recent rising of Francis Ngannou. The UFC Boss had infamously sour relationships with the French-Cameroonian brawler. Is it the root of the heat directed at White?

Francis Ngannou and Dana White

When Ngannou was about to fight Stipe Miocic for the first time, he asked White to keep a jet ready for him. This had to do with one of their earlier conversations where Ngannou asked White to get him a flight in his private jet if he wins. Back then, White was impressed with Ngannou and encouraged him to win too.

However, things would soon change after Ngannou’s loss. White would cite his failure as an “ego” problem. On the other hand, Ngannou would call White’s accusation a mere “excuse” because what really bothered White was Ngannou’s contract. In the end, it was his contract that ended his relationships with the UFC. Do you think Dana White fumbled the bag with Francis Ngannou? Or is it the other way around?
