Former UFC two-division champion Conor McGregor has recovered from the gruesome injury he suffered in his last outing at UFC 264. It has been over a year since McGregor last fought inside the cage and he is now eyeing a return to fighting soon. However, ‘The Notorious’ still hasn’t entered the USADA testing pool as of July 7, 2022.

According to the data provided on the official website of USADA, McGregor still hasn’t undergone a single test this year.

This has put the Irish star’s return in a position of doubt as his final test came in the third quarter of 2021, i.e. before his blockbuster trilogy bout with Dustin Poirier in July 2021.

Tony Ferguson accuses Conor McGregor of evading the USADA pool

After his recent loss, ‘El Cucuy’ has been considering a move to the welterweight division. Similarly, McGregor has also expressed a desire to move to the 170lbs roster on his return.

While talking about the same in an interview with The Schmo, former interim champion Tony Ferguson took a jibe at ‘The Notorious’ and also accused him of leaving the USADA testing pool.

“I don’t think he’s been in the testing pool for USADA for about five to six months. He’s been on a boat. But I’m the real B.O.A.T. That’s the Best Of All Time, motherf***ers,” Ferguson said.

“So, when it comes down to it, G.O.A.T.s come and go, B.O.A.T.s stay afloat. And Conor McGregor, he’s out there on the boat, so no motherf***ers can get to him.”

Both McGregor and Ferguson have suffered losses in their recent run and could be the perfect opponents for each other. While the Irishman is on a two-fight skid, ‘El Cucuy’ is on a four-fight skid. Therefore, this match-up between the two makes sense.

However, there has been no response from McGregor’s side yet.
