UFC has built many stars over the course of the past 20+ years, but none could match the star power of the Irish mixed martial artist Conor McGregor. The former dual weight world champion has transcended the sport of MMA and even jumped into the world of boxing. It is no doubt that ‘The Notorious One’ is one of the biggest names in the business and probably one of the wealthiest mixed martial artists.

With a net worth of over $100 million and multiple lucrative business ventures, it is safe to suggest that he won’t be eclipsed by any other MMA fighter. Recently, McGregor took to social media to share a special message with the fans. The mixed martial artist made a pledge to support first responders on the special occasion of ‘Firefighters’ day’
As a part of his brand new initiative to help out the families of first responders, the Irishman made a special vow. On the sale of each case of Proper Twelve whiskey, the firm will donate a part of the sale to this cause. The first responders will greatly benefit from it as the new initiative will look to raise $1 million annually.

McGregor wrote,” Happy International Firefighters Day On this day, we raise our glasses to the heroes who have dedicated their lives to protecting our communities. We’re proud to support firefighters and first responders today, and every day, with a donation made for every case of Proper No. Twelve we sell (up to $1M annually) #OneForAll @properwhiskey.”

Conor McGregor is eyeing a return to the octagon in 2022
The past few years haven’t been kind to the’ Notorious’ one by any means. Suffering multiple losses in the past 5 bouts and even sustaining a career-ending injury definitely stalled his career. McGregor has been out of the Octagon for the better part of 2021 and 2022, which has put a serious question mark on his return.

It is unclear who he might go up against in 2022 and what weight class he will compete in. But one thing is quite certain, the UFC simply isn’t the same without its biggest superstar.
