‘The Gorilla’ Darren Till and Mike Perry share one of the most colorful relationships among UFC fighters. The duo has their differences, but eventually, they never fail to come up with banter to entertain fans for good. They have been collaborating on Instagram lately, too.
Recently, Till was speaking to Ariel Helwani, who noticed a mark over his eye and asked what caused that. The UFC fighter said he was kissing his wife, but while doing so he told her that her breath stinks. So, his wife proceeded to hit him. Then ‘The Gorilla’ joked that Mike Perry is actually his beautiful wife.

“What you don’t know is my beautiful wife is Mike Perry. It was him. He did it,” said the Liverpool native.

The former UFC title challenger explained how the relationship between him and ‘Platinum’ has improved over the years. He said if they met in the streets, they would have been cool, maybe after knocking each other out. But Till added that he would like to be in Mike Perry’s training team.
“I genuinely want to train with Mike and maybe, you know, get involved. Not necessarily help him, but you know, just add to the team. I think it’d be a good addition, you know, so we’ll say, but I know he’s had the baby. So you know, it gets tougher, you know? Yeah, that’s tougher,” said Till.
The dynamic between the duo keeps getting more and more interesting day-by-day and will only bolster Till’s profile as he chases UFC gold.

Can Darren Till become a UFC champion in the future?
Till is an exceptional fighter with great stand-up skills. So, he certainly has the tools to become a UFC champion someday. But, he has a tough fight ahead of him against Marvin Vettori. ‘The Gorilla‘ is currently 1-1 in the middleweight division. A decision loss to the former champion, Robert Whittaker, followed a decision win over Kelvin Gastelum last year.

Should Till get past ‘The Italian Dream’ next month, he might be next in line for a shot at the middleweight belt. He has formerly challenged for the welterweight throne but lost to Tyron Woodley. Given his skills, fans can expect him to be a UFC champion one day.
