Derrick Lewis has made the news and not for one of his fights. But he’s still just as hilarious. Perhaps one of the most fascinating fighters in the UFC, Lewis was recently put in handcuffs in Texas. The accusation? Reckless driving and going way over the speed limit. Nevertheless, being in court did not do anything for Lewis to lose his sense of humor.

It wasn’t even Derrick Lewis driving it, according to him
Derrick Lewis is a fond owner of a red Lamborghini and he likes to drive how he pleases. While usually it’s not a massive problem, it got him into trouble recently. He was caught after driving the car at 136 miles per hour in a 50 MPH top-speed zone.
Clearly, not an ideal situation if he wants to fight Jailton Almeida at UFC Fight Night. If he doesn’t manage to get out of trouble soon, the fight could be at risk. Thankfully, the urgency of the matter has done nothing to dull his usual sense of humor.
“Nah, I don’t even think that was me…” Lewis responded to the accusation. “That guy had hair. You seen the picture? I don’t got no hair. That ain’t me.”

Well, either someone stole Lewis’ gorgeous Lamborghini and was driving away from a potential knockout. Or, he’s grown and lost hair within the past 48 hours. Either way, fans had responses just as hilarious as the fighter’s comeback. Nobody held anything back.
