Former UFC women’s champion Ronda Rousey is undoubtedly one of the greatest MMA fighters in the history of the sport. She had a glorifying UFC career and several records, including five successful title defenses under her name.

Unfortunately, ‘Rowdy’ parted ways from the UFC after two back-to-back losses in 2016. However, she recently hinted at a return to MMA with one opponent in her mind.

The former UFC champion Rousey expressed her interest in fighting one of the pioneers of women’s MMA Gina Carano. However, the latter seems unfazed by her call-out.

Gina Carano retired from professional fighting long back after her only pro-MMA loss against former UFC champion, Cris Cyborg in 2009. She currently enjoys her time working in Hollywood as an actor and also producing movies.

In her recent tweet, ‘Conviction’ shared a great achievement with from her Hollywood career with her fans. In the caption, she wrote, My heart skipped a few beats when I saw this credit for the first time. I like how that feels. #TerrorOnThePrairie @realDailyWire. Thank you for providing a safe space & opportunity for so many. @benshapiro @JeremyDBoreing.”

Why does Ronda Rousey want to fight Gina Carano?

The WWE star Ronda Rousey stated to return to MMA if she gets a fight against Gina Carano. In the recent episode of ‘The Kurt Angle Show,’ Rousey said, “There’s only one person I would come back for… For Gina, man. Gina Carano. She’s the reason why I got into fighting. She’s the reason why I knew it was a possibility. I will always be forever grateful…”
