The Canadian fighter announced his transition to a carnivore diet on Instagram. Having already done it previously, St-Pierre said, “August 1st guys. This is the beginning of the challenge. 30 days on animal-based diet. I did it 2 years ago and I remember I felt great. My level of energy was through the roof and I lost a lot of inflammation. Inflammation is the cause of many problems and illness in the human body.”

Now I know a lot of people would ask me why you did not continue to live like this for the rest of your life? It’s simple. It’s because I love my chocolate, coffee, pasta, alcohol, ice cream, sugar way too much. But we live only once. And I believe its really worth it for you to try. You might learn something about yourself and your diet. Have fun and good luck.

In following the carnivore diet, Georges St-Pierre follows Joe Rogan. The veteran UFC color commentator also detailed the carnivore diet in one of his Instagram posts.

Joe Rogan on the carnivore diet

In January 2020, Joe Rogan was first introduced to the carnivore diet. On his Instagram, the podcast host announced he would be eating nothing else apart from meat. Similarly, in another post, he mentioned the good and the bad of the carnivore diet.

Writing about the bad first, Rogan mentioned he suffered from diarrhea when he started the carnivore diet. “There’s really only one “bad” thing, and that thing is diarrhea,” mentioned Rogan.

From his post, one could make out that Rogan went through a lot of trouble initially. He wrote, “I haven’t sh*t my pants yet, but I’ve come to accept that if I keep going with this diet, it’s just a matter of time before we lose a battle, and I fill my undies like a rainforest mudslide overtaking a mountain road.” However, Rogan also mentioned that diarrhea improved as each day passed.
