Ariel Helwani is one of the most popular faces when it comes to combat sports journalism. Recently after a long partnership, the Canadian podcast host parted ways with ESPN. Ever since then there has been much speculation as to what the man will do next. Now putting all questions to rest, Helwani himself answered all the questions.

Helwani posted about the same on his Twitter account. He wrote, “Hello! I am extremely excited to announce my next chapter (s), which will be with: @themmahour, @MMAFighting, @voxmedia (WE’RE BACK!), @Spotify, @ringer, @btsport, @SubstackInc, @YouTube. And more to come. Allow me to explain:”

Helwani said many things during the video and also announced a weekly YouTube podcast with celebrities that don’t just belong to MMA but will be from various fields. Talking about the new podcast Helwani said that the show will have people from all fields including authors, athletes, pro-wrestlers, musicians, and actors.

He even talked about how he doesn’t want to be just an MMA guy but is looking t widen his horizon. He said, “I will be dusting off my old YouTube channel. You know I started this YouTube channel almost 12 years ago, I think. I wanted to resurrect that so to speak because I wanted to do interviews with everyone outside of the MMA world so I’ll be doing a weekly show/podcast that will be available on my YouTube channel in video form, an interview series if you will.”

Ariel Helwani returns to SB Nation’s MMA Fighting

From August 16, Helwani is going to be back with ‘The MMA Hour with Ariel Helwani.’ This program was one that was liked by MMA fans all around and made Helwani a popular name in the MMA community. Now Helwani is all set to return with a revamped version of the same.

Helwani took to Instagram to share the news and wrote, “You can go home again. THE MMA HOUR IS BACK IN YOUR LIFE!!!! (Damn, it feels good to write that.)”
