Rogan invites many interesting guests from various backgrounds on his show and discusses many interesting topics with them. Few of the famous guests he’s had on before have been Kanye West, Elon Musk, and Mike Tyson.

In a recent episode of The Joe Rogan Experience, Rogan had the British political commentator Douglas Murray on as a guest. In conversation with him, Rogan revealed some shocking news. He revealed that after his controversies regarding Covid-19 and racism, his subscriber count had a significant increase.

He said, “it’s interesting, my subscriptions went up massively… That’s what’s crazy.”

Rogan added, “During the height of it all, I gained two million subscribers… Yeah, [the media] went for it. It’s also fortunate that the people who went for it were CNN. They’re so untrustworthy and people know how biased they are and socially weird their anchors are.”

Joe Rogan got a great deal of hate for statements he had made in his podcast regarding Covid-19. He also received backlash for using a racial slur, for which issues an apology. Other media platforms shunned Rogan, which is not an uncommon sight. However, it turns out that this actually helped Rogan get his viewers up.
