Joe Rogan once went to extreme lengths to win the challenge

In a recent interview with ‘YMH studios’, Rogan revealed how the competitiveness lead to him doing cardio for seven hours straight. Furthermore, he told Tom Segura, who was the host of the show, that it bothered his wife.

Rogan said, “I was doing seven hours of cardio. And I watched John Wick 50 times. I just kept watching John Wick… And thinking of Bert [one of Rogan’s friends who participates in the Sober October challenge]”

Describing that time, Rogan revealed that his wife wasn’t too happy about him going for overkill. He added, “that one was just too crazy. My wife didn’t like it either. It’s like I became obsessive. I think we all did, we were working out for hours and hours every day.”

Segura revealed that despite being sick, he ran for 13 miles because of the extreme competition between him, Rogan, and other friends.

What is Sober October?

Sober October is an annual fitness challenge where the goal is to get the healthiest shape possible in the month of October. Moreover, drinking alcohol are strictly prohibited. To top the notch, the podcaster also has strict dietary and exercise guidelines for all people involved.
