Two of Adesanya’s former opponents spoke about his power in the octagon.

In a UFC 275 media interaction, UFC fighters Jan Blachowicz and Robert Whittaker were present. When asked how hard Israel Adesanya hits, Blachowicz answered, saying, “It’s hard to compare, you know. He hit in different way, he’s know which time to hit, how to hit, which angle to hit. He is very tricky. This is the best weapon you know. Not power. That he is tricky and fast.”

Whittaker interrupted, saying, “My wife hits harder…Honestly, I am joking. He knocked me out the first time. I guess he hits pretty hard…It’s exactly as Jan said…There are lots of different types of strikes.”

“There is some that hit ya and hurt and then there is some that hit ya and make you do the chicken dance like Romero did with me. And then there is some that hit ya and then you waken up. It’s different.”
