The Frenchman has a record of twelve wins and four losses, along with one no-contest in his professional MMA career, with two of these losses coming in the UFC. His first loss came on his professional debut in 2016, at the hands of Majdeddine Ayadi at 100% Fight 27. Imavov submitted to a guillotine choke in the first round of their welterweight bout.

He came back strongly, however, and put together a three-fight win streak until he lost to Michal Michalski at FEN 19 in 2017 via a unanimous decision after three rounds. His third loss came in the UFC when he suffered a close, majority decision loss against Phil Hawes at UFC Fight Night 185. Last year, Imavov suffered his fourth loss against Sean Strickland at UFC Fight Night 217. He lost by unanimous decision after five rounds in a battle that followed Kelvin Gastelum’s withdrawal.

Dolidze vs. Imavov set for February 4

On paper, the middleweight bout between Imavov and Dolidze seems like an interesting matchup. Although Dolidze possesses excellent grappling skills, he is not afraid to mix things up on his feet and holds significant power in both hands.

Hi, I am Kanishk and I am a UFC Writer at EssentiallySports. I love telling the stories of these magnificent fighters and this wildly unpredictable sport that is so frustrating and yet so joyous at the same time. I never really used to watch MMA, thinking it too crude or brutal a sport to deserve respect.
