Nate Diaz Adds An Exciting New Member To His Team Ahead Of UFC 263

Nate Diaz will make his return inside the octagon after a two-year layoff at UFC 263. He will go up against the #3 ranked welterweight contender Leon Edwards. Ahead of UFC 263, Diaz adds an exciting new member to his team.

Diaz welcomed his old friend Gilbert Melendez to his new gym for fight preparations. It was revealed in the UFC 263 countdown series of Edwards vs. Diaz.

In the UFC 263 countdown, Melendez had great things to say about his old friend Diaz.

‘El Nino’ said – “To fight a guy no one is really looking forward to fight, Leon Edwards, says a lot about Nate. This guy is a tough guy. He is fast, has some kicks, good clinch, good elbow, nothing Nate hasn’t ever seen. You know, Nate’s a fighter. He’s trying to conclude the fight, win or lose”.
