Nate Diaz lands in more trouble after an old fight with a bouncer goes viral

Former UFC fighter Nate Diaz is facing a battery charge following allegations that he struck a nightclub employee in the face during an altercation in Las Vegas earlier this year. The caption read, “Former UFC star Nate Diaz has been charged with battery … after he was accused of striking a Las Vegas nightclub employee in the face during an altercation earlier this year.”

Court documents obtained by TMZ Sports reveal that the alleged incident occurred on August 25, shortly after midnight. Diaz and a group of his acquaintances were reportedly attempting to enter the Omnia nightclub at Caesars Palace at the time. The details of the incident align with a video of Diaz that surfaced in September. In the footage, Diaz is seen engaging in a shoving match with another man near what seems to be the entrance of Omnia. The altercation escalates when Diaz takes a swing at the man, striking him in the face and knocking the glasses off his nose. He was once again in the news for having an altercation with Islam Makhachev. While the matter did not escalate as expected he received a warning from legendary coach Javier Mendez.

Nate Diaz needs to rethink his actions as advised by coach Javier Mendez

Nate Diaz and Islam Makhachev recently made waves after a heated backstage altercation following the UFC 311 press conference. The tense exchange escalated quickly, with bottles being thrown from both sides, nearly causing a riot before security stepped in to restore order. Fortunately, no one was seriously injured during the chaos. Diaz’s involvement has drawn significant attention, especially since he hasn’t been affiliated with Dana White’s organization since leaving in late 2022. Footage shared by ESPN MMA shows Nate Diaz and Islam Makhachev exchanging heated words from afar, with Diaz eventually provoking Makhachev by telling him to “pull up.”

Shortly after, Diaz threw a water bottle toward Makhachev and his team, igniting a chaotic scene that security swiftly brought under control. This has not been the first time when Diaz has targeted the Dagestani camp. However, if he doesn’t change his actions he might be in a lot of trouble feels Mendez. While speaking on his YouTube channel he said, “Nate Diaz, to me, is the same thing. You know he does his thing. He does [this] gangster-type stuff. He’s had beef with team Khabib for many years. I don’t know if that beef will be ever settled.” He also warned the former UFC fighter and said,  “I don’t think anything of it, you know, but my Dagestanis, they won’t start it. But they definitely will swarm in on him, all of them.”

Currently, Diaz will have to come out of the current trouble before he focuses on anything else. What do you think will happen to him? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
