Nate Diaz has just one fight left in his UFC contract. The MMA and UFC veteran last fought at UFC 263, against Leon Edwards, a fight that he lost via a unanimous decision.

UFC President recently announced that Diaz has just one fight left in his contract, and they’re looking for a matchup for him. A lot of fighters, ever since that announcement, are looking to fight him. Fighters have called him out as well, but nothing is finalized yet. A few days back, Diaz teased a return in December, but earlier today, he sent out a tweet saying, “There’s nobody else.”

This seems to be suggesting that he still hasn’t found an opponent for his last fight. Khamzat Chimaev is one of the guys being tipped to face Stockton’s own. ‘Borz’ has been dominant ever since he signed with the UFC, and recently even called out Diaz. A fight between one of the biggest stars and the newest sensation of the sport would definitely get the fans excited. However, he doesn’t seem to be interested in fighting the Swede.

One name that has constantly been brought up is Vicente Luque. The number 4 UFC welterweight has been taking his shot at Diaz for some time now. He is very clear; he wants to fight Nate Diaz. ‘The Silent Assassin’ is even ready to go 10 rounds against him.

Luque is a high-ranked opponent, and a fight and a win against him might encourage Diaz to sign a new contract with the UFC. However, he doesn’t just have sights at an MMA fight.

Diaz also seemingly took a shot at Conor McGregor on Twitter. He wrote, “You can’t even save yourselves.”

Nate Diaz vs. Jake Paul a possibility?

Even since the news of Diaz’s contract broke, there has been a lot of talk of him switching over to boxing. Many believe he’s looking for a fight against ‘The Problem Child‘, Jake Paul. Previously, former UFC fighter and Bellator commentator Josh Thomson had said that, going and fighting Paul is what exactly Diaz will do.

He said, “I want you guys all to know this. He’s leaving the UFC, he’s fighting Jake Paul. Just stop. This is his last fight. He’s not fighting in the UFC anymore, he’s going to leave, he’s gonna fight Jake Paul… He knows that fight (with Paul) is gonna make him probably double what he’s gonna make. They’re gonna fight.”

Jake Paul recently talked about Diaz in an interview. He was asked if he would still be interested in fighting Diaz, who has some of the best hands in the history of the UFC. Paul said, “By whose account? He’s got the best hands? Who said that? This guy has got like 40 losses on his record. Yeah, for sure. I’m gonna beat him up into a pulp. No problem, no issue. I’m gonna Stockton Slap the sh*t out of that b*tch.”
