The UFC’s Senior VP of Athlete Health and Performance, Jeff Novitzky, recently went under knee replacement surgery, and Diaz sent his well-wishes to the UFC official in his own special way. Other UFC fighters like Max Holloway and Rob Font also wished Novitzky a quick recovery. However, Nate Diaz‘s wish stuck out among the rest.

Nate Diaz uses fewer words, communicates clearly, and is unconcerned about what others think. That is what sets him apart from the majority of other UFC competitors.

Novitzky posted a picture of his knee surgery on Instagram, to which Diaz commented: “We better drug this man”. Talking about ‘drugging’ a man who looks after the health and fitness side of the UFC, the 37-year-old certainly chose his words well before commenting.

Diaz’s wordplay captured Jeff Novitzky’s attention, and he decided to share it separately on Twitter.

Other fighters such as Max Holloway and Rob Font also wished for Novitzky’s speedy recovery:

Holloway wrote: “Get well my man!”

Wherein Rob Font wrote: “Wishing you a speedy recovery.”

The 54-year-old does indeed play a significant role in the organization, and it is evident that the fighters have a great deal of respect for him as well.
