Nate Diaz and Khabib Nurmagomedov never fought in the UFC Octagon. However, this did not stop them from feuding outside of it. Both the fighters had gotten into a brawl during an event. While Nurmagomedov has retired and Diaz looks forward to quickly completing his contract with the promotion, they are still not on good terms.

Diaz recently spoke to Ariel Helwani on ‘The MMA Hour’. While discussing how Khamzat Chimaev was a name being brought up for his next fight, Diaz made a comparison with Nurmagomedov.

Diaz said, “…they are like f**king, Khamzat. And I’m like okay, well f**king. At first, I was like, ‘why do you want me to fight him the same week they wanted me to fight Khabib when he was brand-a*s new?’ Khabib is a f**king little b*tch too.”

“Khabib just went like, who’d he beat for the title? He got Dustin Poirier, Justin Gaethje. They’ve both been finished off. Over and over, the same way that he’d beat them. You ain’t no good. You are a scared fighter, scared of fighting the whole time, and now you’re in the Hall of Fame or something?”

That seemed to have set off the brawl at the event. The security soon got involved and Diaz was removed from the place. The fighter was there to see his friend fight, but because of the brawl, he wasn’t able to do so.

While Diaz admitted it was ‘reckless’ to get into the brawl, he could not tolerate getting picked on.
