Nothing seems to have happened on that front yet, but it sure will be an exciting fight if booked.

Another name that popped up, which got the fans super-excited, was that of Tony Ferguson. ‘El Cucuy‘ is another one of the fan favorites, and has no quit in him, just like Diaz. A fight between the two would be an absolute war, and the fans were all in. Diaz even tweeted a picture of Ferguson, teasing a fight, to which Ferguson replied. He said, Blazin’Trails RollIt 170lbs -CSO- # @danawhite.@NateDiaz209.”

Another name that called out Diaz was the newest MMA sensation, Khamzat Chimaev. In the post-fight presser after his last fight, he said, “Hey Diaz, let’s go, bro. You gonna get some smoke, bro.” However, Diaz doesn’t seem too interested in fighting the newcomer and is looking for a big name.

There are a lot of potential fights for the Stockton native, but it will be interesting to see what name he and the UFC agree on.
