Dana White fulfilled his promise by providing $15,000 to the executive of Nelk Boys.

Months ago Dana White was with the production team of ‘Nelk Boys’ and while having his moment with their team. The UFC CEO got hold of one of the executives of their team Gabriel Poncio Souza. White inquired Souza about his weight and Souza claimed that he is just 260 lbs. White couldn’t believe what he heard and asked the team to bring in a scale.

After obtaining the scale, White weighed Poncio Souza and was astonished to discover that he weighed a staggering 300 lbs. White couldn’t believe his eyes and decided to issue a challenge to the executive. He offered Poncio Souza a bet of £15,000 if he could lose weight.

It’s worth noting that UFC provides preliminary fighters with $12,000 to show and an additional $12,000 to win. However, Poncio Souza has recently upped the stakes, and in his latest venture, White has pledged an additional $15,000 in a bet with the executive. This time, it’s for shedding another 10 pounds before UFC 296.

Poncio Souza took to his Instagram handle to express his joy in losing weight and thanked the CEO for pushing for his weight loss. Interestingly, ‘The Nelk Boys’ helped Dana White win a substantial amount through gambling.
