‘Never Give Up on Yourself’ – Darren Elkins Ecstatic After Securing 2nd Straight Victory Against Darrick Minner at UFC Vegas 32

Darren Elkins faced Darrick Minner in of the most exciting fights of UFC Vegas 32. The veteran featherweight fighter was coming into the fight on the back of a single victory after losing 4 consecutive fights. Therefore, this fight was very important for ‘The Damage’ as he was looking to continue his winning ways.

This is exactly what the fighter did, as he defeated Minner via a 2nd round TKO. Elkins was very excited about the victory, and how much it meant to him was clear from his post-fight reaction. Now after a few days of the event, Elkins has taken to Twitter to share his excitement and his support for his team.

He wrote, “From 0-4 to back on a win streak! Never give up on yourself!!! I have the best team in the world!”. Before his victory against Minner, ‘The Damage’ had defeated Luiz Eduardo Garagorri at the UFC Vegas 13 event. Prior to his fight, Elkins lost 4 consecutive fights and had won his last fight at UFC Fight Night 124 back in January 2018.

Now though the fighter seems to be back on track and with 2 consecutive victories, will look to make his way up the featherweight division.

What next for Darren Elkins after his victory at UFC Vegas 32?

Elkins was always known for his toughness and his ability to make comebacks. Therefore, one was not surprised as Elkins came back strongly after 4 consecutive defeats. Now at 37 years of age, and after winning 2 back-to-back fights, the question remains, what next or Elkins?

After winning two fights, Elkins would look to compete against a ranked fighter. Probably somebody like Shane Burgos or Ilia Topuria. While it is unsure about who Elkins will face when he returns. One thing seems clear, the fighter is very excited about winning and will look to continue the winning momentum.
