This has left several notable names including Dana White, shocked as he was a promising talent who entered the UFC undefeated, fought tough fights, and left to fight in different promotions.

Famous UFC reporter, Megan Olivi, was saddened by his unfortunate demise.

UFC fighter, Angela Hill expressed her shock and concern on Twitter.

A Twitter account dedicated to Will Harris’ ‘Anatomy of a Fighter,’ expressed sadness. After all, Theodorou was an integral part of it.

Further, UFC’s Michael Chiesa, posted a small video talking about the demise of his friend. He spoke about how he crossed paths with the fighter. He revealed how Theodorou once gave him his coat. Chiesa still has it and said, “I never got a chance to give it back.”

MMA reporter, Kevin Iole, also wrote a tweet remembering Theodorou.

Additionally, Conor McGregor’s coach, John Kavanagh, too wrote a short tweet expressing his sadness.

The deputy editor of ‘MMA Fighting,’ Shaheen Al-Shatti, too was shocked by the news. The fighter last fought in December 2021, and his passing away just months later was a big shock.

Similarly, Damon Martin from ‘MMA Fighting,’ was of the view that the world lost him too soon.

UFC’s promoter, Dana White, took to his Instagram stories, too, remember the fighter. He shared a picture of Theodorou and wrote, “RIP Elias Theodorou.”

Retired UFC fighter, Roxanne Modafferi, also expressed her sadness on Twitter.

Additionally, Meisha Tate aka ‘Cupcake,’ tweeted about it as well.

Further, Khabib Nurmagomedov’s famous manager and Dominance MMA’s founder, Ali Abdelaziz, too, took to the social media platform to express his grief.

Therefore, the whole MMA community felt the loss of his presence. ‘The Spartan’ who hails from Canada, started fighting professionally back in 2011. In fact, he had the perfect start. His 11-fight win streak was broken by Thiago Santos in the UFC.

However, Theodorou went 8-3 in the famous MMA promotion before leaving it in 2019. Additionally, he last fought in December 2021, and was on a three-fight winning streak. Thus, he was the 34-year-old fighter with a bright future in the sport.
