Khamzat Chimaev’s rise to fame has been nothing but spectacular. The Swede has just had just four fights in the UFC but is already one of the most popular fighters in the world. He is currently unbeaten in his professional MMA career and is 4-0 in the UFC.

‘Borz’ last entered the octagon at UFC 267 against Li Jingliang. He made easy work of his Chinese opponent and won the fight via submission in the first round. Since the win, Chimaev has been looking for a fight. He has called out a whole host of fighters and even participated in a freestyle grappling match against Jack Hermansson.

Recently, Chimaev took to Twitter to call out some of the biggest names in MMA history. And amongst those was one of the greatest MMA fighters of all time, Georges St-Pierre. GSP is a former two-division UFC champion and by many, he is regarded as the MMA GOAT. In his call out, Chimaev said, New King of UFC vs a Legend. What you think? @GeorgesStPierre.”

GSP first retired from the sport back in 2013, after defending his welterweight title nine times. He made a comeback in 2017, to fight for the middleweight title. ‘Rush’ defeated Michael Bisping, the then middleweight champion, and later vacated the title.

He officially announced his retirement from the sport in 2019 and was recently inducted into the UFC Hall of Fame. It seems nearly impossible that St-Pierre would return to the octagon to fight Chimaev, a fight that doesn’t really help his legacy.

However, it looks like he is willing to fight former UFC heavyweights as well. In a recent spree of call-outs, Chimaev went after Daniel Cormier and Brock Lesnar. In a tweet targeted towards Cormier, he said, “Let’s make a wrestling match brother what you think ?”
