DAZN and Ngannou – An Overview of the Interview

Ngannou is not the only fighter to drop his UFC contract. Former UFC Lightweight fighter Nate Diaz also pulled out of the promotion and served as a free agent for a while. He then went on to create his own promotion named Real Fight Inc. His next big fight will see him in a boxing match against Jake Paul, under the banners of MVP and Real Fight Inc.

When asked who he thinks would stand tall, The Predator replied, “Well originally I would go for Nate Diaz but you know, this guy Jake Paul has been proving himself, so I think you really have to count it- to count him in, right? There is a competition right here, and he has proven that he’s a boxer now, he’s not just a YouTuber. He is a legit boxer now, so yeah, I counted in but that’s good yeah”.

The host then asked Ngannou if he had any discussions with Diaz regarding their futures or the business. To that the hard-hitter replied, “ No we haven’t have a conversation but yeah as you said he has a fight, fighting in the MVP promotion, and his own promotion, real fight promotion, so I’m excited for him man, I’m happy for him. He’s doing what he’s happy with, he’s happy with his decision and he’s doing good – he’s doing good!”
