This incident took place when the undefeated fighter was speaking at a Spread Kindness Together event in Yorkshire. As the event came to an end, Nurmagomedov stood up to thank the people who attended. That’s when a fan rushed onto the stage with a phone in his hand, seeming to click a picture with the fighter.

While most people would have flinched or been taken aback by the situation, the former 155-pound UFC champion maintained his composure. When the security was escorting the fan away from the stage, Nurmagomedov said, “No brother, don’t do this

Addressing the crowd after the incident, Nurmagomedov said, “Guys, let me talk. Guys, I come from other part of world here to see you guys. And you know, like, I think I deserve some respect too.” The fighter further proceeded to thank the people who attended the event.

Not only did he become a fighter, but he also stayed undefeated and became the 155-pound champion in the UFC. When he appeared on Hot Boxin with Mike Tyson, ‘The Eagle’ discussed the mentality that made him a champion.

On the podcast, Nurmagomedov claimed everything is about a fighter’s mentality. He said that often people asked him how he felt when he became champion. ‘The Eagle’ replied by saying, “In my mind, I was always champion. In my mind, all the time when I see someone compete like in my weight classes and I think okay.” 

Nurmagomedov said that when the UFC first signed him in 2012, even then he believed he could beat everyone in his division. The undefeated former UFC champion said, “Everything about mental.”
