Michael Bisping doesn’t believe in political correctness much. He came out to criticize the current lunch in-school scheme in England. Children in England receive free lunches at school till the end of Year 2. Post-year 2, the children only qualify if their parents get certain benefits. There are around 8,00,000 children who live in poverty and do not get free meals due to the eligibility rules.

Labour Party MP from South Coventry Zarah Sultana has now come up with a plan to widen the net. She is going to propose a revised plan in parliament soon. UFC legend Michael Bisping looked shocked and disgusted after realizing the state of free lunch for school kids in a wealthy country like England.
Replying to a tweet from Good Morning Britain that shows Coventry South MP Sultana’s views on the Free Lunch issue, Bisping seemed upset and disgusted. The new proposed plan from the Labour party MP aims to widen the benefit net.

He tweeted,” Hold on, in England if you earn over 7k then kids don’t get free school meals? This is ridiculous and needs fixing asap.” the UFC analyst Bisping has around 100k followers on his Twitter account.

The retired middle and light heavyweight fighter went on to express how it was absolutely ridiculous that all the kids in England weren’t eligible for a free lunch at school. The tweet further said, “7k a year is an insane bench mark. It’s nothing! In a wealthy county like England, this is disgusting. No child in England should be going hungry. Ever”
Zarah Sultana Plan will be a blessing for School kids
The Proposed plan from the labor party MP will be a blessing for school kids all over England. The kids who were not able to take advantage of these benefits because their parents earned more than the amount specified in the benefit bracket per year (£7,000) may now also be covered too.

Zarah Sultana is a first time MP. She has roots in Pakistan. Her ancestors moved to the UK in the 1960s. She has a degree from the University of Birmingham. The new initiative from the young MP will surely please Michael Bisping and all those who hold education and child welfare in high regard.
