UFC polarizing mega star Nate Diaz was at the Jake Paul vs Tyron Woodley 2 fight. ‘Stockton’s’ own Nate Diaz was at the event to support his friend and close training partner Chris Avila. Speaking to Ariel Helwani between fights, Diaz had a few things to say about his tea mate and about Jake in the main event.

Chris Avila put on a show defeating Anthony Taylor via a unanimous decision. Speaking on his friend’s performance, Diaz said, “He did (good), he did(good), on to the next. The next move is gonna be big, I’m sure. So I was here to support him, do our thing, and well be here again soon.” Avila’s victory over Taylor comes as a big win for the ‘Nick Diaz Army’, since earlier in his career Avila had lost to Taylor in a Bellator MMA bout.

When asked if he had a prediction for the main event between Jake and Woodley, Diaz responded in his iconic way. He said, “No I don’t give a f**k.” Nate Diaz was also seen talking to Logan Paul before the main event. Commenting on that, Diaz said, “I met him a couple of times, the two of us were just talking, chopping it up.” Even though Paul has called out Diaz a couple of times, Diaz seems to be friends with Paul’s older brother, Logan.

Since Diaz was mainly at the event to watch his friend perform, many thought he’d leave before the main event. However, when asked if he was staying to watch it, he said, “Yea, ill be around. Sh*t!”

At the pre-fight ceremonial weigh-ins, Nate Diaz got into a bit of a scuffle with Anthony Taylor and his team. However, the two sides were quickly separated, and a brawl was prevented. This is not the first time both these teams have gotten into it. At a previous Bellator event, Diaz got into an altercation with Taylor for showboating after his win.
