Former UFC double champions Henry Cejudo and Conor McGregor keep taking a shot at each other. However, both the superstars can’t compete right now, as McGregor is going through the recovery process and Cejudo has retired.

With the Irishman getting into trouble recently, the ‘cringe king’ attempted to put down ‘The Notorious’. However, ‘The Notorious’ was having none of ‘The Messenger’ as he completely dismissed him and called him a ‘nobody’.

Thus, ‘The Triple C‘ came back with the tweet lauding his accolades in the combat sport and aiming shots at McGregor’s recent issues.

Cejudo tweeted, “The only skid mark you should be worried about is the one you caused by driving like an a**e. I’m a 2X Champ and an Olympian. I’ve had gold around my neck. You’ve had silver locked around your wrists. @TheNotoriousMMA.”

Recently, Henry Cejudo clapped back at Conor McGregor and suggested he should fight Jake Paul as ‘he is not that dude no more.’ Not only that, even McGregor had roasted Henry Cejudo after the latter demanded a title shot.

Cejudo has frequently stated his interest in fighting ‘The Notorious‘. Meanwhile, Conor McGregor doesn’t seem to take an interest in the fight. Though the two fighters have a significant weight discrepancy, Cejudo would definitely fight the Irish superstar at any weight, as is the case with any other fighter.

Breaking down Henry Cejudo vs. Conor McGregor

Conor McGregor has competed in the UFC’s featherweight, lightweight, and welterweight divisions. Yet, on the scales, he has looked in his peak athletic shape at the lightweight division. Whereas, Cejudo has competed in the flyweight and bantamweight division and has looked better at 135 on the scales.

Though Cejudo has talked about moving up to 145 lbs, McGregor, with his recent shape, doesn’t appear to make featherweight anymore. Hence, the potential bout has to be at 155 lbs.

Contrary to the common beliefs, McGregor has defeated grappling heavy fighters. Chad Mendes, Eddie Alvarez, and many such fighters had trouble taking down ‘The Notorious’.

Even against the bout with his bitter rival, Khabib Nurmagomedov, McGregor stuffed the initial takedown attempt from ‘The Eagle’ and the Dagestani fighter had to use his Russian wrestling to take down McGregor.

Hence, Cejudo, whose only way to victory appears on the ground, perhaps would be undersized in a fight against the Irishman.
