Khamzat Chimaev has managed to capture everyone’s attention with his dominating performances inside the Octagon. Instead of his nickname ‘Borz’, he is being called ‘Angry Khabib’ or ‘Evil Khabib’ by many because of his undefeated record. Dana White himself is blown by Chimaev’s talent.
After his win against Li Jingliang, he also managed to defeat middleweight Jack Hermansson in a wrestling match. This depicts the kind of expertise he has as a fighter.

Chimaev has been calling out UFC fighters for a fight regardless of their weight divisions. He is ready to fight just about anyone. However, it seems that other fighters have been ducking him.
In an episode of ‘The Jim Rome Podcast’, Dana White spoke about Chimaev. He said, “Khamzat Chimaev is one of the baddest dudes that I have ever come across. And he is literally willing to fight anyone. And doesn’t care what the time frame is or any of that stuff. So, ya no, he’s one of the baddest dudes I’ve ever, ever come across.”
White hopes to soon find an opponent for the Russian-born Swedish fighter. He said, “Hopefully, this week, we’ll have an opponent for him. Nobody wants to fight this guy. Everybody wants to get out on social media and say this and say that, blah blah blah. But when it really comes down to it, nobody’s trying to fight Khamzat Chimaev.”
“At the end of the day, when you’re a professional fighter, you know. I mean this is what you do. You should look at a guy with this much hype … as a huge opportunity.”

It seems fighters avoiding a bout against Chimaev has annoyed White. It would be interesting to see which fighter accepts a fight against him.

Chimaev’s extraordinary performance in the ring will surely fetch him some great bouts and good money in the future. Recently, he has called out fighters like Nate Diaz, Colby Covington, and even Brock Lesnar.
