Norma Dumont was born on October 1, 1990 in Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais in Brazil. The Brazilian native had her first brush with combat sports when she began practicing jiu-jitsu when she was just 13 years old.  But life had other plans, and she had to step away from her training to work as a secretary to support her family.

At 19, Dumont returned to the world of combat sports with a renewed passion. This time, she dived into Sanda and Muay Thai, quickly making a name for herself. She didn’t just dabble in these sports; she dominated them, becoming a six-time Sanda State champion and a National champion. But Dumont wasn’t content with just regional success—she had her eyes set on something bigger.
