The Dillon Danis vs.Logan Paul fight was a strange affair that saw Danis throw almost no punches at Paul. But now Danis has stated that he is looking to sign with the UFC. In one instance, the fighter called out Dana White, stating that if the UFC didn’t sign him, he would retire.

Meanwhile, SBG head coach John Kavanagh believes that for Danis to compete in the UFC, he would have to join a reputable fighting gym where he could shine his skills. While having a conversation with Ariel Helwani, Kavanagh stated that Alex Pereira’s gym or the Irish gyms should be Danis’s first choice.

“I have made great suggestions, and I thought Conor had set up a great opportunity. If he were to come over to Dublin, he had Phil, Cliff, and the Crumlin boxing team all ready to go. Let’s do a couple of months of proper training, but it didn’t come about,” explained Kavanagh.

He further added ” If he were to get a UFC fight, I would strongly suggest he join a team. I know his personality might clash with half the team already, but he still needs it. It was great to see him working with Alex Pereira, so maybe he could go over to wherever those guys are based and train with them.” Kavanagh’s suggestions are valid, but it all comes down to one thing, and that is if will Danis compete in UFC.
