Although the former UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov has retired from the sports, his name is always on the mouth of UFC fans and pundits. Apparently, the UFC commentator Joe Rogan also falls under the same bracket.

‘The Eagle’ is regarded as one of the greatest fighters to ever grace the UFC octagon. Along with his fighting abilities, people also talk about his dedication and discipline towards his work.

During his time in the promotion, ‘The Eagle’ has dominated almost all of his opponents inside the cage. However, only a few looked sharp in front of him. One of them was Justin Gaethje, who won the first round against him. But lost the fight in the second round via submission.

While talking about this bout and his dominance in the UFC, Joe Rogan, in one of the episodes of his podcast, said, He’s on another level and that’s one of the things that happens when you are.”

“I mean, you got to realize that guy is supremely disciplined. Supremely dedicated like doesn’t drink, doesn’t smoke, doesn’t f**k around, doesn’t abuse his body always fit,” he added.

Khabib Nurmagomedov to be inducted into the UFC Hall of Fame

Last week the UFC announced that the former lightweight champion and undefeated fighter Khabib Nurmagomedov will be inducted into the UFC Hall of Fame Class of 2022. Interestingly, the Dagestan native is the first inductee of the 2022 UFC Hall of Fame Class.

The promotion announced the news at the UFC 272 pay-per-view. Notably, ‘The Eagle’ was present at the event to corner his cousin Umar Nurmagomedov for his featherweight debut.

‘The Eagle’ retired from the sport after the demise of his father/coach, Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov, in 2020. However, he continued training his friends and teammates for their MMA careers.

Be it inside or outside the octagon, the Dagestan native has achieved a lot through his hard work and dedication. However, induction in the UFC Hall of Fame will be a huge honor for the legend of the sport.
