In an interview with EsNews, Arianny Celeste, a renowned Octagon girl, revealed her favorite UFC fighter. The 36-year-old ring card girl named Hawaiian MMA pioneer, BJ Penn, as her favorite fighter.

Penn is a hardcore fans’ favorite fighter – the MMA legend ruled the promotion in multiple divisions before names like Ronda Rousey and Conor McGregor came along.

When asked why she liked ‘Prodigy’ the most, she replied, “I like his fight skills and I like him as a fighter.”

Penn is a former UFC lightweight and welterweight champion. ‘Prodigy’ has some notable wins in the 170 lbs. Besides, he’s still considered one of the best lightweight fighters ever to compete inside the Octagon.

The former two-division champion was a complete fighter. Penn had exceptional hands while standing. Besides, his grappling was top-notch, chiefly, with the unique flexibility.

Though Penn has an MMA record of 16-14-2, most of his losses came in the latter part of his career. He won only 1 contest in his last 11 MMA fights.

Penn, in his first run in the premier MMA organization, shocked the entire world when he submitted Matt Hughes at UFC 46: Supernatural. Afterward, he won his second gold, when he defeated Joe Stevenson at UFC 80: Rapid Fire via RNC in round 2 for the vacant lightweight championship.

Penn defended the title three times before dropping it to Frankie Edgar, which remains the most in the lightweight division.
