Rashad Evans Reveals His NSFW Pre-Fight Ritual To Joe Rogan
Rogan started this topic by highlighting the fact all fighters have their own unique pre-fight rituals. “It is very interesting to see the different strategies people employee in order to focus on the mind”, Rogan said. According to the UFC commentator, some of the practices fighters use before fights include meditation and shadow boxing. Evans then revealed his own pre-fight rituals.

“I would yell in the mirror sometimes, I would like yell out the fear like, come on!”, Evans revealed. According to Evans, he used this technique because he was usually nervous, leading up to a fight and did not want to “freeze” in the octagon.
This was not it. Evans also revealed another pre-fight ritual that might sound weird to many fans. “I go out there and I would twist my n*pples before the fight. That was just to kind of do something stupid and silly but then it would allow me to just kind of relax”, Evans revealed.
