UFC bantamweight champion Dominick Cruz has been with the promotion for a long time. He has delivered some of the best fights in the promotion’s history and has beaten names like Urijah Faber, TJ Dillashaw, and Demetrious Johnson. While Cruz earns plaudits for his fighting abilities, Joe Rogan lauded him for his coaching abilities as well.

‘The Dominator’ recently posted the clips of Rogan’s podcast on his IG stories. In an old episode of his podcast, Rogan said, He is so technical. He’s very good at like breaking down scenarios and what’s happening. Because he is not just an MMA fighter, but he also coaches people.”

After facing two devastating losses in his career, Cruz found his way back into the win column with a victory against Casey Kenney at UFC 259. However, he looked more like himself in his recent win at UFC 269.

In his second fight of 2021, ‘The Dominator’ defeated Pedro Munhoz via a unanimous decision. He displayed stunning improvements in this bout and also won the ‘Fight of the Night’ bonus for his performance.

With this win, he rose to 7 in the bantamweight rankings. Although the former champion has expressed his interest in fighting Jose Aldo, the bout might not be possible at the moment as Aldo sits at #3 on the charts.
