Sean O’Malley believes that the UFC has different plans for Conor McGregor

Conor McGregor and Michael Chandler have no choice but to be patient, while the ͏UFC remains tight-lipped about ͏any potential clash between ͏them. A crushing loss to Dustin Poirier marked a turning point in McGregor͏’s career. Despite a severe leg injur͏y that seemed career-ending, McGregor appears ͏to have made a remarkable recovery. The 35-year-old is astute about his decision to return,͏ however, UFC has yet to give any confirmation regarding his return date.

McGregor and Chandler’s potential clash was predicted to happen at UFC 300 by fans, but even the happening of this incident seems far-fetched. McGregor’s friend and longtime coach John Kavanagh stated that they expect McGregor’s return in June, at International Fight Week. UFC 300 goes down in April in Las Vegas, and even the McGregor camp is expressing uncertainty about him making his comeback there.

O’Malley stated that McGregor is without a doubt the biggest star in the UFC. ‘Suga’ added that his fights gather a considerable amount of money for the promotion, but most of it might be going into McGregor’s pocket. “Conor’s supposedly just begging for a fight. ‘Give me a fight, let me fight, Daddy,’ Conor says. His patience is wearing thin over UFC inactivity. I wonder if he’s making so much money per fight that it’s just not that beneficial to the UFC. Like they’re losing money when he fights,” said O’Malley on his YouTube handle. “Suga” believes that it is the UFC who is delaying McGregor’s return, however, McGregor’s potential opponent Chandler thinks otherwise.

Michael Chandler believes that McGregor is delaying their fight

Michael Chandler has patiently awaited Conor McGregor’s return to the octagon for an extended period. The hiatus from the cage has been significant for “Iron,” and his patience is wearing thin. Chandler asserts that it is not the UFC causing the delay in their potential clash; rather, he believes McGregor is the one holding things up. According to Chandler, McGregor requires additional time for training to prepare for their showdown, and this is the primary factor contributing to the delay.

While having a conversation with Steve-O’s Wild Ride, Chandler said “I think right now he’s trying to wait me out. Cause if you were him, would you want to wait as long as possible for the guy like me – who’s a real fighter, who wants to be in there, who wants to compete – so that I say ‘Sc**w it, I’m gonna go fight someone else.’
