The sport of MMA is as unpredictable as it gets. In this dynamic sport, scheduled fights may get canceled at the last moment or new fights can be arranged days before the event. While fight cancellation usually happens because of unforeseen reasons such as an unfortunate injury, it does leave fans upset. This is something that happened with Beneil Dariush vs Charles Oliveira.

Beneil Dariush is one of the most promising lightweights in the UFC. With a professional record of 22-4-1, he has won his last eight fights. Oliveira, on the other hand, is a former lightweight champion and is considered one of the best lightweights. A fight between the two was scheduled at UFC 288, on May 6th.
