The condition is rare and happens because the baby’s diaphragm fails to close as it should, and sadly, Nathaniel Woods’s daughter had to go through it. After defeating Daniel Pineda at UFC 304 by way of unanimous decision, ‘Prospect’ gave an interview to the media where he was asked to share about her daughter if he was comfortable.

The featherweight fighter without any hesitation explained that her little girl is much stronger than he is as she has been fighting for her life from her very birth. With a sad tone and teary eyes, Woods explained in detail what’s been up in his family, “At first, she had a condition called CDH. When she was in my wife’s, uh, stomach, tummy, whatever it is, her liver, spleen, and intestines were all up where her chest was, so her lungs didn’t grow properly.
