‘Now We Leave It to the Judges… In Divorce Court’: Dana White and His Wife’s Physical Confrontation on New Year’s Eve Draws Strong Reactions From UFC World

UFC president Dana White has invoked the ire of fans after a recent clip of him surfaced on the internet. In the clip, the 53-year-old White gets into an altercation with his wife, Anne White, and both of them slapped each other. The incident went down in a nightclub in Mexico on New Year’s eve.
According to a report from TMZ, White and his wife were partying in El Squid Roe on New Year’s eve when the altercation happened. Eyewitness accounts state that the couple was heavily intoxicated before the exchange. While they were partying in the VIP area, White leaned across to say something and his wife slapped him. The UFC head honcho immediately responded by slapping her back, all of which is evident in the clip.
Both Dana White and his wife have addressed the issue and put out their own statements. White said the incident that unfolded in the Cabo San Lucas nightclub was an unfortunate incident fueled by booze.

“You’ve heard me say for years, ‘There’s never ever an excuse for a guy to put his hands on a woman,'” White said. The UFC president stated his embarrassment at the incident and said the couple has apologized to their kids as well. Mrs. White also shared the same sentiment and assured that no such thing has happened before in almost thirty years of their marriage.
However, the incident went viral in no time and has fans taking shots at White.

White did not endear himself to the fans with this latest incident. Many of them took shots at the UFC president and his upcoming venture, The Power Slap League, on social media.

The reactions to the incident do not bode well for White. The couple has, at this moment, requested the public to respect their privacy as they work it out amongst themselves and their kids.
