Francisco Trinaldo feels ‘offended’ by the UFC

Francisco ‘Massaranduba’ Trinaldo is one of the longest-serving fighters in the UFC. The Brazilian fighter joined the UFC on ‘The Ultimate Fighter: Brazil. Moreover, Trinaldo competed at UFC 147 in his debut match in the promotion and he won against Delson Heleno. He started the journey that led him to a total of 26 UFC fights over 10 years.

However, he lost his last fight against Randy Brown via unanimous decision. Following the loss, ‘Massaranduba’ is now released from Dana White’s promotion.

In an interview with MMA fighting, Trinaldo said, “It was good for as long as it lasted.” Furthermore, the former UFC fighter added, “We feel a bit offended, but it’s also good to me because it gives me more energy to train. Not that I was tired of fighting in the UFC, but it’s good that I’m going to fight for other promotions now, meet other people. MMA is only growing, so let’s leave that feeling in the past.”

Francisco Trinaldo is looking to join the fast-growing PFL

Francisco Trinaldo is in search of a new promotion to continue his career as a fighter. A heartbroken and ‘offended’ Trinaldo is looking to join the fast-growing PFL promotion. PFL is gaining popularity after Jake Paul signed with the promotion.

Moreover, during the same interview Trinaldo said, “We think about that [PFL] tournament, four fights a year, but when I fight, I do it for love. It’s good that I get paid to fight and put on that show. So that’s also a good option to think about the future. Not every promotion pays a million. We’re fighting for a long time, so that’s a good promotion to consider.”
