Israel Adesanya thoroughly enjoys himself when making YouTube videos for his fans, and his latest video is nothing less than informative.

The Khamzat Chimaev and Gilbert Burns fight during UFC 273 took the spotlight on the entire card. With the Brazilian going toe to toe with the biggest hype train in the UFC to date, the two fighters gave it their all in the cage. That being said, the fight exposed a few flaws in Chimaev’s game, showing us that he’s also only human. 

Coming to this aspect, Stylebender dove into the psyche of Chimaev during the course of the fight. The Russian has an undefeated record of 11-0, and all ten of his fights were easy and dominant on his part. However, Burns being cut from a different cloth altogether, Chimaev saw why Burns was one of the best welterweights in the world. Talking about a hasty decision on Chimaev’s part, Stylebender stated,

Adesanya seems to be more of a slow and steady fighter who relies not just on his incredible skill but also on his fight IQ in order to win fights tactically.

What does the future hold for Israel Adesanya? 

Despite fighting in February, it feels like an eternity since Stylebender last fought. After his decision win over Robert Whittaker, we were left wondering who’s next for Adesanya. Although, it looks as though Jared Cannonier‘s plea to Dana White did work after all, as the ‘Killa Gorilla’ is on his track to bend the elements of the fight game with Stylebender.

Things are slowly looking better and better for the middleweight division. The division will bring the heat as the Cannonier fight will gradually pick up steam going into this year. Moreover, various other competitors are also present in the middleweight division. These are the favorites to face Adesanya at a later point in time. Alex Pereira, the only fighter to knock out Israel Adesanya, is climbing up the ranks to face him soon.
