The infamous #1 UFC welterweight contender, Colby Covington, is the type of person who won’t hold back when he trash talks about someone.

In this case, Covington didn’t hold back while he talked about Dustin Poirier. Furthermore, Covington made a promise to expose Poirier ahead of his trilogy fight against Conor McGregor.

Poirier and McGregor first clashed at UFC 178, where McGregor claimed a first-round T/KO victory. Then the rematch took place at UFC 257, where Poirier avenged his loss by winning the fight via T/KO in the second round. Now, the pair will duke it out in a trilogy fight at UFC 264.

In a recent interview with Helen Yee Sports, Yee asked Covington about his thoughts on the trilogy fight. That is when Covington took a dig at Poirier.

‘Chaos’ said, “I am just sick of hearing that Dustin’s a nice guy, charitable. I am exposing for the coward and the fraud that he really is.

“Behind cameras, he ain’t a nice guy. On cameras, he acts, pretends like he is a father, good guy, oh my charity, you know.”

The primary goal of this charity is to raise money for needy people and help them benefit in every way.

However, Covington believes it’s otherwise. In the same interview, Covington also talked about Poirier’s charity. ‘Chaos’ said, “We all know that his charity is a tax write-off. So, Dustin’s a coward.”
