Maddalena’s exceptional recent performances and his winning streak made him an excellent choice against the #8 UFC welterweight Sean Brady. But now, Maddalena faces UFC newcomer Josiah Harrell, who has a record of 7-0.
If this was not enough, another match-up has perished because a fighter opted out due to injury. Bo Nickal, who impressed the world with his last performance, was going to face Tresean Gore at UFC 290. However, that fight seems canceled now.

Recently, popular MMA reporter Ariel Helwani revealed this news on Twitter. According to him, Gore cannot fight at UFC 290 due to an undisclosed injury. Moreover, he also said that the UFC wants to keep Bo Nickal on the PPV card, and therefore the matchmakers are looking for a new opponent for him.

The news did not sit well with the fans, as they were excited to see this match-up. Both Nickal and Gore possess conflicting styles which would have given fans an entertaining and competitive battle.
