One of the most popular figures in the entire UFC is Joe Rogan. The comedian has been with the UFC for a long time. Apart from the UFC, Rogan also hosts his own podcast, ‘The Joe Rogan Experience’, where he discusses his views on numerous issues.

During on such episode of the ‘JRE’, Rogan was joined by the named libertarian political commentator and podcaster, Dave Smith and the two went on to discuss the effects of misinformation spread by social media on the politics of the US.

Rogan was particularly keen to talk about how, the current president, Joe Biden had used misinformation through social media to turn things against the former president, Donald trump.

Rogan shared his thoughts. Criticizing Biden’s coalition with media platforms to defame Trump, Rogan commented, “Think first about where is it coming from?”. 

‘Orange Man Bad’ is a well-known term in the US. Rogan went on to comment about how the media sensationalized this piece to spread hatred against Trump.

Rogan commented, “I think the orange man scared the f*ck out of everybody and they all acted irrational and I think thats one of the things that broke mass media, mainstream media in terms of like television media and news”.

He apparently didn’t like the hysteria of people hating Trump just due to a feeble reason like a ‘slogan’.

Rogan further said, This hate for trump was so overwhelming, you had to say he was bad, no matter what the story was”.

What did Dave Smith say?

Dave Smith explained the reason why the media opposed Trump. Smith stated, “He pissed off a lot of people in an unbelievable way. … He pissed off people in the intelligence agencies, I mean people at very high levels.”

Smith also presented the other side of the story saying, “Should it change your vote that the son of the president, then vice-president is clearly selling his last name … to make money from the foreign governments.” He wasn’t evidently impressed by Hunter Biden’s profit strategies.

Thus, the personalities discussed the incident and shared several views.
