UFC heavyweight knockout artist Derrick Lewis will be back in action this weekend. He will take on the surging star Tai Tuivasa inside the cage at UFC 271.

The event will take place in Lewis’s hometown of Houston, Texas on 13th February. An intriguing middleweight title rematch between Israel Adesanya and Robert Whittaker will headline the event.

Ahead of the fight, ‘The Black Beast’ appeared in an interview with Brian Campbell of Morning Kombat. Lewis talked about the current scenario of the heavyweight division and also gave his take on who should get the next title shot.

At a point in the interview, Campbell asked Lewis if he will fight the former light heavyweight champion, Jon Jones if UFC offers the bout. To which Lewis replied by saying, “If they come at to me with something like that, of course, I would do that.”

“You know I would even go on one of his diets. And you know, do a bunch of stuff. Help me lose weight, man, I will do that. Other than that, I don’t see it. I don’t see the fight.”– Lewis concluded.

‘The Black Beast’ is famous for his one-punch knockout victories in the UFC. He is one of the most vicious strikers in the UFC. However, the former interim title challenger claimed to like his next opponent.

Although Lewis hates his style of celebration. In an interview with Fox Sports, Lewis said, “He’s a good man. I like him. I like Tai and I really appreciate him knocking out Greg Hardy like he did the last fight. He was talking a lot of trash that week. So I appreciate him”
