The Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle, has been under fire from the British media. It is understandable because being a foreigner being a part of the British Royalty may be hard to digest for a lot of Brits. What is more astonishing is that Meghan Markle is hated by the Americans as well. According to a Washington British royal expert, Americans just don’t understand why Markle talks so much against monarchy; despite being a royal herself.

Meghan Markle is best known for her character ‘Rachael Zane’ in the popular American series Suits. She played a legal researcher with a renowned legal firm in the show. She, however, Married Prince Harry in 2018 and took retirement from acting following the marriage.

It’s a fact that the British media has never liked Markle. There have been multiple stories about demonizing her and making her look like a villain.

Reports about Meghan Markle mistreating the royal staff have been very common. Stories even suggested that she had made many cries. When the Queen died, Meghan Markle was present with elbow-length gloves and a tilted hat at the Funeral.
She, however, was accused of fake crying by the British Media.
Why do Americans hate Meghan Markle?
According to Nile Gardiner, a foreign policy expert and royal family enthusiast, Americans were just not understanding why Meghan Markle is so vocal against the monarchy. They were bewildered by the fact that she was so aggressive in her views towards monarchy; despite being a royal herself.
The American Republic supporters have especially been accused of hating Markle. Meghan Markle has been spending her time with charities in the recent past. She had also started her podcast; with her husband, Harry. The Podcast was called “Archetypes”. She, however, was recently criticized by UFC commentator Joe Rogan for discontinuing the Podcast shortly.
