Jamahal Hill is leaving no stones unturned in his preparation before his fight with Alex Pereira. Hill initially won the light heavyweight title but had to vacate it because of an injury. During his absence ‘Poatan’ rose to the occasion and claimed the vacant title after defeating Jiri Prochazka. ‘Sweet Dreams’ will now have the opportunity to reclaim his lost belt. The 37-year-old is taking the help of Israel Adesanya in order to gain an upper hand. Adesanya faced Pereira two times in his career and even managed to beat him once.

In one of his recent YouTube channel videos, the former champion made his predictions. He said, “I’m gonna go Jamahal by knockout, first two and a half [rounds].” He further added, “Jamahal’s going to try to get his fist to Alex’s head, just like he did with Johnny Walker.” Hill was also reminded by Adesanya to be careful of Pereira’s leg kicks as he was returning from a leg injury.
