Deemed the world’s highest-paid athlete, Conor McGregor does not shy away from flaunting his assets. The UFC champion has been out of the cage for quite a while and has been often seen spending quality time with family. That of course is when he is not trash-talking or calling out other fighters.

Recently, Dillon Danis fought Logan Paul in a much-anticipated bout that may have strayed a little too far away from boxing. McGregor has been backing up Danis on social media like no other. However, the fighter had made an important promise to Danis before the fight, and that one, didn’t quite come through. ‘The Notorious’ later also found time to flaunt his wealth on Instagram while defending Danis on Twitter. Here’s the story.

Conor McGregor flaunts his luxury yacht

Conor McGregor just took to Instagram amid his online support for Dillon Danis. The fighter had bought the beautiful luxury Lamborghini yacht back in October 2020. And he hasn’t stopped flaunting the beautiful machine since then. However, his promise to Danis isn’t something that can be flaunted for the absence of it.

McGregor has been spending time with his kids and a very pregnant fiance Dee Devlin. He can also be seen training with his kids and the streak of endearing pictures has won the netizens over. It is refreshing to see the Notorious away from the glam or making controversial comments. And the Mystic Mac cannot stop flaunting it on his Instagram posts. But with this comes an allegation of broken promises.

McGregor breaks promise to Dillon Danis

‘The Notorious’ had promised Danis to be by ringside during his fight against Logan Paul. However, when the fight was over and ‘El Jefe’ had lost, the world would find out that McGregor never made it to the fight. His absence was also noted by Logan Paul and interviewer Ariel Helwani. Paul also accused McGregor of truly abandoning his friend and teammate Dillon Danis. However, fans suspect that the fighter was out somewhere in the sea enjoying the match from his $3.5 million yacht. ‘The Notorious’ on the other hand has been a very supportive friend. Especially when it comes to Twitter.

He has called out Logan Paul for not even “wobbling” Danis during their fight. However, he did just about nothing to respond to Paul’s callouts in the post-fight interview with Helwani. Perhaps, once he’s done defending Danis from his beautiful golden yacht, he could take time to give Paul the time of day. After the fight, Logan Paul was nothing but pure energy and joy. In his confidence, he managed to quickly call out Conor McGregor for a fight. He would then go on to call out Rey Mysterio, the WWE veteran. While the latter fight could still happen in Paul’s future, a boxing match-up with McGregor sounds a tad bit difficult.

The Irishman has an estimated net worth of about $180 million thanks to his exploits in combat sports as well as his successful business ventures. He was also named the world’s highest-paid athlete in 2021 by Forbes magazine. Clearly, the yacht is just one of his many riches, but will he show up at Danis’s next fight? We’ll have to wait to find out.
