Paddy Pimblett is what fight fans are all about at the moment. Making strides in the notoriety ladder of the sport, Paddy’ The Baddy’ Pimblett is causing eruptions amongst UFC fans for various reasons. 

UFC: London was a historic night for the promotion and Pimblett. The crowd turnover and the vibe were immaculate. That being said, with a personality like Pimblett comes a vicious trash talk game. Transparent and straight in conviction like an arrow, Pimblett seems to speak his mind.

Back in 2021, Pimblett called out the lightweight GOAT Khabib Nurmagomedov for his comments when it came to certain aspects of lifestyles and the sport itself.

Paddy Pimblett: Entitled to thy opinion 

He’s the ‘Karen’ of the MMA world now. He’s always complaining about stuff. I just don’t understand how you can moan about no cannabis on a podcast what’s called ‘Hot Boxin with Mike Tyson.’ That’s what ‘Hot boxing’ is. Smoking cannabis in a car with the windows all wound up.” Stated Pimblett in a video.

Talking about communal hate, he continued, “Like people are calling me a Muslim hater, and like I hate Khabib? Because I’ve said this when I’m just in the opposite. Like, I don’t hate Khabib. At all. I think he’s the 155 GOAT. I just don’t think he’s the actual GOAT of the sport, and all his fanboys uh attacking me for it when oh, that’s my opinion. I’ll have my opinion if I want. I don’t care what you say to me. My opinion will be mine. No one’s ever gonna stop me from saying what I think.”

The Baddy believes that ‘The Eagle’ seems to be giving his opinion where it isn’t needed. Despite feeling that he is the lightweight GOAT, he doesn’t think that the Dagestani is worthy enough to be called the GOAT of the sport.
