Paddy Pimblett claims a contest between him and a fellow European fighter would break all the PPV records for UFC. Currently, Conor McGregor and Khabib Nurmagomedov’s UFC 229 showdown holds the record for highest selling PPV for UFC.
The former Cage Warriors champion is a prominent young prospect from the UK MMA. Last year, ‘The Baddy’ made his astonishing UFC debut; He secured a knockout win against his opponent, Luigi Vendramini, in the first round.
Ahead of his upcoming bout at UFC London, Pimblett spoke with Jamal Niaz, where he talked about many fighters in the lightweight division.

“That would be the biggest PPV the UFC has ever seen. Without a shadow of a doubt,” Pimblett said on a potential clash with Conor McGregor.
It appears the fellow European fighter is none other than the Irish man himself, Conor McGregor.
Even when pointed out that there wouldn’t be any American involved in the fight, he claimed, “Without an American in it. That would be the biggest PPV the UFC has ever seen in their lives. I know for the fact of it.”
The Brash English fighter has made a lot of noise in his backyard with the success in the regional scene. Thus, ‘The Baddy’ has a massive fan base coming to the UFC. Considering that, the UFC sees a lot of potential in Pimblett.
The UFC introduced ‘The Baddy’ to the fans, with his first fight being on the main card.
Even the Scouser didn’t let down the fans and the UFC as he got an early finish in his debut. Despite having all the hype and the biggest PPV draw, beating Conor McGregor vs. Khabib Nurmagomedov‘s UFC 229 spectacle would be a mammoth task.
However, as per Pimblett, him vs. McGregor can break all the UFC PPV records.

Is a fight between Conor McGregor and Paddy Pimblett possible?
Conor McGregor and Paddy Pimblett have a lot in common. Both the fighters started their careers in the Cage Warriors and became a big name for the organization. Also, both held the championship in Cage Warriors before moving to the UFC. Likewise, both had a lot of hype coming into the UFC, and both backed it up in their debuts.

Besides, ‘The Notorious’ ran through the featherweight division. Thus, Pimblett has to do a lot of hard work in his division before fighting the biggest name in the UFC.

Though Pimblett is on the right track, there is a long way ahead of him.
However, recently, Conor McGregor suggested he doesn’t rule out a fight against the English UFC sensation. Thus, there is hope for this encounter.

Anyhow, ‘The Baddy’ will take on Rodrigo Vargas on the London card on March 19.
